This weekend at Masich Place Stadium, the UNBC Women are looking to secure their first points of the season when they host the UBC Okanagan Heat for a single Friday night matchup. After a busy stretch to start the season, the TWolves are entering a weekend where they'll only play once. And with an energized, Pride Night crowd expected on Friday, the young TWolves are hoping that it can be a factor in allowing them secure their second consecutive home victory against UBCO dating back to September 15 a year ago.

Last weekend against UBC, TWolves goalkeeper
Johanna Rathke was simply sensational. The first-year keeper from Germany made 17 saves on Friday during a hard-fought 3-0 loss, and the following Sunday she added 19 more saves to her conference and country-leading totals. After six games this season, Rathke has made 78 saves – many of which have been of supreme quality. Despite the barrage of shots against, Rathke's leadership and positivity have never wavered. She gives her squad a chance to win every time they take the field, and she'll be highly motivated to do so on Friday night at home.
