UNBC would like to encourage supporters of the Timberwolves Athletic Program to consider "adopting" a student athlete.
"Adopt-a-Timberwolf" provides donors the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of varsity and club athletics at UNBC. Your pledge will provide an essential form of support for our dedicated student athletes as they strive for success in the classroom and on the field of play.
The Varsity Athletic Program at UNBC is comprised of men's and women's teams in basketball and soccer. We also recently added a Nordic ski-club in 2024. Your support of UNBC Timberwolves Athletics will help our student athletes reach their academic and athletic potential.
Adopt-a-Timberwolf Fund Use
The funds generated are used in various ways to enhance the athletics programs at the University of Northern British Columbia, such as:
- Non-conference travel
- Uniforms
- Meal money for road trips
- Equipment
- Assist UNBC athletes with their education costs
Requested Donation
A donation of $500.00 is suggested, but any amount is very much appreciated.
Tax Receipts
Tax receipts will be issued for the full amount of any Adopt-an-Athlete donations.
