Player to Watch: Koss Nystedt, D
After missing the first two games of the season, Koss Nystedt has been a mainstay in the Timberwolves lineup, playing every minute of every game. The first-year defender possesses a big, athletic frame, and a growing understanding of the game that has him poised to be an impact player in the conference for years to come. In a UNBC lineup that utilizes rookies more than any other program in Canada West, Nystedt has been a standout and will need to be strong against his hometown Vikes.

Victoria Vikes (5-1-2)
2nd in Pacific Division Standings
13 Goals For (4th in CW)
7 Goals Against (5th in CW)
Goals Leader: Javier Sagaste, Aiden Grew, Matthew Pearse: 3 Goals

Points Leader: Javier Sagaste: 6 Points
Saves Leader: Callum Weir: 32 Saves

Javier Sagaste, M
If there is a player in the Vikes dressing room that may understand what the Timberwolves are trying to do on the pitch, it's Javier Sagaste. A member of the Victoria Highlanders program that won the League1 BC championship this summer, the Victoria product played for UNBC coach Steve Simonson, and alongside many of the TWolves. Leading the Vikes in goals, assists, and points, the fourth-year midfielder is quick and crafty, and will command plenty of attention from defenders wearing green and gold.
