After earning points in three of their first six Canada West matches, the UNBC Timberwolves head into a crucial weekend on the road looking to turn some of those hard-fought results into victories.
The Timberwolves will open the weekend Friday afternoon against the MacEwan Griffins (0-6-0), with kickoff set for 1:30 p.m. PT, before traveling to Lethbridge for a Sunday afternoon matchup with the Pronghorns at 1:00 p.m. PT.

UNBC has shown plenty of fight through the opening weeks of the season, with draws keeping the Timberwolves within striking distance of the playoff picture. But as the season progresses, those single points need to start becoming three.

Lethbridge Pronghorns

DEPTH SHINES:

One encouraging sign for the Timberwolves has been the balance throughout their attack. Five different UNBC players have already recorded at least two points this season, highlighting a group that has not relied on one individual to generate its offence.  James Jordan and Kaiden Young have both struck twice on the season, while Mehdi Bounaaja and Trevor Scott have each secured a pair of assists. Hagon Kim brings one goal and one assist to the table for a Timberwolves squad who still has 10 games of runway with which to work with, and a six points outcome this weekend would go a long way in helping UNBC truly vault themselves back into the playoff mix.
