The UNBC Timberwolves Men are fresh off their first point of the 2026 Canada West season and are looking to continue their upward trend this weekend when they clash with two of the perennial top teams in the Pacific Division.

UNBC hosts Trinity Western University on Friday at 8:00 p.m. before welcoming the UBC Thunderbirds on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Friday's matchup with Trinity Western also moonlights as Tailgate Weekend for UNBC (presented by Hub City Volkswagen). Supporters and students can look forward to an evening of prizes, free food, and one lucky UNBC student is walking away with a $2000 tuition credit courtesy of the UNBC President's Office.

James Jordan Goes Back-To-Back
Fourth-year midfielder James Jordan is off to a fast start for the UNBC Timberwolves. After scoring in the first half of Friday's opener with TRU, Jordan followed up Sunday with a spectacular effort where his speed and finesse resulted in his second goal of the young season. Jordan has opened the scoring in each of the first two 2026 matches for UNBC and both were set up by fellow midfielder Mehdi Bounaaja. Another big weekend from James Jordan would be a welcomed sight for UNBC supporters as they look to snag points from two clubs that are usually in the thick of the playoff fight in Canada West.
