Fourth-year midfielder Thomas Powell has been a steadying force for the Spartans midfield, really ever since he first took the field during the 2022 season. Now a veteran of 40 career games with Trinity, Powell has started 37 of them and has supplied nine career goals and 11 assists for 20 total points. This season he ranks first on his team with three assists and also tops the Spartans with 21 shots – nine of which have been on target.

Second-year midfielder Isaac Tate is staring to heat up offensively for UNBC. Over the course of his past four games, Tate has notched a goal and three assists for four points. His two most recent points came Sunday in UNBC's thrilling 3-2 victory over the Saskatchewan Huskies. Both of Tate's assists that afternoon were highlight reel worthy and with xix games remaining in the TWolves season he's just one point shy of surpassing his point total from 2023.
