After beginning the 2026 Canada West regular season with four straight home appearances, the UNBC Timberwolves Women take to the road this weekend for a pair of clashes down South. On Friday night the TWolves battle the UFV Cascades before heading further into the Mainland for a tilt with Trinity Western.

A COMMITMENT TO DEFENSE
 
Through four matches, the Timberwolves have shown a noticeable step forward in their commitment to defending as a unit, allowing nine goals while spending far more balanced time in the opponent's half compared to a year ago. The improved territorial play has given UNBC more opportunities to pressure, possess and create chances, even if the attacking production hasn't quite followed yet. With a young group continuing to gain confidence, the expectation is that the goals will come — provided the Timberwolves can stay organized, structured and confident in their approach.
