Coming off a tremendous rookie season in 2022, when she started every game of the Canada West season, Kambria Mellum is crucial to the Timberwolves in her sophomore campaign. A speedy defender from Kelowna, Mellum has the pace and physicality to compete with anyone in the conference. With the Pandas visiting Masich Place, the second-year will be leaned on the be steady in her own third, while taking space when given the opportunity to start rushes in the other direction.

12 Goals For (7th in CW)
11 Goals Against (10th in CW)

Player to Watch: Adrienne Poulin, F
Coming off a ten-goal season in 2022, Adrienne Poulin has picked up right where she left off in 2023. The third-year is pacing the Pandas in goals and points, and is the focus of the Alberta attacking efforts. UNBC will need to be hyper aware of where the Edmonton product is on the pitch at all times, if they wish to slow the Pandas' potent offense.

Player to Watch: Camryn Cline, F
In her third season with the Timberwolves, Camryn Cline is being leaned on to play major minutes for the Green & Gold. The product of Powell River has plenty of speed and a nose for the net, but hasn't seen one go in the net yet. With the talented Griffins in town, Cline will need to be strong in defending and dangerous when the TWolves generate offensive pressure.

On a roster full of talented players, Grace Mwasalla stands out. After a stunning 15-goal campaign in 2022 that resulted in her being named a U SPORTS First Team All-Star, she has quickly added eight goals in seven games this year, including five game-winning goals. The undefeated Griffins look to the Chatham, ON native in the game's biggest moments, and she so often delivers.
