FULL LIST OF CANADA WEST ALL-ROOKIES AND ALL-STARS
The 6'0" Bias appeared 19 of 20 possible regular season games for the TWolves in 2024-25 and started 10 of them. He finished tied for the team lead in assists (40) and had the outright lead in steals (20). He also led all Timberwolf rookies in points-per-game (7.6) and total rebounds (58).
"Isaiah has shown remarkable growth in his first year. Initially, we were going to redshirt him but he showed early on that he was going to be able to help our team right away with his competitive spirit and ability to create off the dribble," said UNBC Timberwolves Men's Basketball head coach Todd Jordan. "Isaiah has stayed the course through the normal ups and downs of being a first-year player, and his mental toughness in keeping his head up and learning from his mistakes put him in a position to take off and become our starting point guard once Justin went out with injury. It was fun to watch him have a number of breakout performances in the second half of the year. He has really learned a lot about decision making and I'm excited to see where he takes it from here as I believe this season was just the start for him."
Bias recorded double-digit points five times, and twice in a four-game span managed 19 points-per-game, on the road, against UBC (January 11) and TRU (January 25).
In conference, Bias led all Pacific Division rookies in points, field goals, assists, points-per-game, steals, free-throws, assists-per-game. He finished second among Pacific Division rookies in rebounds and free-throw percentage.
After attending the UNBC Timberwolves Spring ID Camp in April of last year, Bias committed to the TWolves shortly thereafter.
Isaiah Bias becomes the second Timberwolf in program history to capture conference all-rookie honours.
UNBC Athletics would like to extend their heartfelt congrats to
Isaiah Bias on achieving Canada West All-Rookie honours for 2024-25.
