Todd Jordan's club returns to action this weekend at the Northern Sport Centre against their foes from Alberta. For the first time since 2016, the UNBC Timberwolves Men's Basketball game will battle the Alberta Golden Bears at home. The TWolves showed well on Sunday against UBCO, but ultimately fell by a slim two-point margin. The Golden Bears are 2-0 after a pair of home victories last weekend against MRU.

It only took one game, but
Evgeny Baukin has already served notice to the Canada West conference that he means business. The fourth-year forward led all scorers on Sunday with 30 which matched his previous career high. Baukin shot 10-of-18 from the field Sunday and was two-for-four from deep. His four assists were also tops among all Timberwolves Sunday. Another big weekend from Baukin will be crucial for UNBC against a tough Alberta squad.

Milestone Watch:
- Evgeny Baukin recently surpassed 700 career Canada West points. He now sits alone in 7th all-time in Timberwolves scoring.
- Justin Sunga sits one assist shy of 200 for his career.
