Player to Watch: Isaiah Bias
6.7 PPG, 2.2 RPG, 1.1 APG, 0.9 SPG, 0.1 BPG
Given the high volume of injuries currently facing the TWolves, many younger players have been thrust into much bigger opportunities than they would have otherwise received. First-year guard
Isaiah Bias is taking full advantage. On Saturday night at UBC, Bias poured in a career-best 19 points on a super tidy seven-for-12 shooting, while adding three assists and three boards during a career-high 31 minutes played. There are going to be bumps along the way for Bias and all of the younger players for that matter, but the improvement from Bias is undeniable and hopefully bodes well for another big week of games at Brownridge Court.
Milestone Watch:
- Chris Ainsley arrived at the 100-point mark for his career last weekend at UBC.
- Will Keyes is 19 points shy of 100.
- Keyes is also 17 rebounds away from 100.
- Evgeny Baukin needs just three rebounds to reach 200 for his career.
- Justin Sunga is two assists away from 200 for his career.
