The 6'4" Abigail Becker is a two-way force for the Victoria Vikes. The fourth-year product of Parksville is coming off a solid season that saw her capture third-team Canada West all-star honours. Becker poured in 18 points last week in Victoria's opening night victory over Trinity Western and followed up with a tidy 11 rebound, eight point effort last Saturday against UFV. She's averaged 10.2 points-per-game over the course of four seasons and 62 total games.

After the opening weekend of the 2024-25 season, Viktoriia Filatova has put the conference in notice. The second-year Russian guard recorded 39 points over the course of two games as the TWolves managed to split their opening two games last weekend. After securing a new Canada West career high 19 points on opening night against UBCO, Filatova followed up with a 20-point effort Sunday in a victory over TRU. She accomplished this with remarkable efficiency shooting 50 percent on Friday and 53.6 percent on Sunday. A big follow up weekend from Filatova would go a long way for UNBC as they look to continue their early season winning ways.
