One of the major bright spots in the early going for UBCO this season has been the play of third-year guard/forward Lily Pink. The 5'11" product of Kelowna comes into the weekend tied for the team lead in scoring with 11.7 points-per-game while adding an impressive 6.7 rebounds, and 2.2 steals. Pink has managed double-digits offensively in five of her first six games, and her season high in the regular season came on opening night against UNBC when she poured in 15, along with a season-high four assists.

Sveta Boykova makes an impact for the Green and Gold. The fourth-year forward comes into this weekend ranked second on the team in scoring, and first in rebounding, assists and blocks. Boykova has notched 10-or-more points in five of the first six games for UNBC this season, and has also pulled down a minimum of five rebounds in all six. On opening night against UBCO, Boykova recorded 12 points and nine rebound along with two steals.
