Heading into his fourth season at UBCO, point guard Jalen Shirley is looking to build off an impressive season where he led the Heat with 17.9 points-per-game. The product of Brampton, Ontario is shifty and aggressive and can do some damage from inside, but also had the fourth best three-point percentage in Canada West last season (45.9 %). In two games against UNBC a season ago, Shirley posted 11 and 24 points respectively in a pair of losses.

Heading into his final season of Canada West play, Ukranian forward Denys Bachurin figures to once again play a big part in the TRU attack. The 6'7" forward led the Pack a season ago with 13.1 points-per-game and his 32 three-point field goals ranked him second on the team, just one back of Daniel Bost. Bachurin finished in double-digits offensively (11 and 15) in a pair of meetings last season with UNBC, and had seven games of 17-or-more points altogether.

It's no longer a secret.
Justin Sunga is one of the most complete, dangerous guards in the country. The Burnaby product is entering his third season and is looking to build off a wonderful second season that saw him average 10.2 points-per-game along with 5.3 assists. Sunga continued that strong play into the post season, where his consistency played a huge part in helping the TWolves secure a bronze medal at the 2024 Canada West playoffs.
