With a roster among the youngest in the entire conference, Sveta Boykova figures to be leaned on more than ever this season. The third-year forward has grabbed 437 rebounds over her two Canada West seasons, the most of any player in the conference. With the majority of her UNBC teammates in their first or second year of eligibility, the Moscow native will be leaned on to produce offensively, play tough post defense, and provide leadership throughout the year.

Player To Watch: Nikki Cabuco, G
8.7 PPG, 2.5 RPG, 1.7 APG, 1.6 SPG
While Canada West All-Stars Maddy Gobeil and Deanna Tuchscherer garner much of the attention, it is often Cabuco who makes the little plays that spark a Cascades run. Now in her fourth Canada West season, the shooting guard is the prototypical 3-and-D wing. The tenacious defender was top-10 in the conference in three-pointers last season, and will play big minutes yet again for Al Tuchscherer's team as they look to take a leap into the U SPORTS tournament.
